Description

The BMW X3 is a compact luxury crossover SUV that has been manufactured by BMW since 2003. Currently in its fourth generation (G45, introduced for the 2025 model year), BMW markets it as a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), which is their term for their X-line of luxury vehicles.

The BMW X3 was conceived to blend the agility of a compact car with the driving experience and versatility of an SUV, particularly the larger BMW X5.   • X3 M50 xDrive: Features a more powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing approximately 393 horsepower, also with standard xDrive all-wheel drive.
  • A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant is also expected to be available.
